Follow our Adventure

We have "Always" wanted to retire and sail the world.  We decided in 2019 to make it happen.  We sold our business, our commercial real estate, our home, and 90% of our personal belongings.  Our sailing catamaran (S.V.  Always) will exit the factory in France September,  2021

We  will arrive in La Rochelle France the beginning of September to see our boat exit the factory.  Once out of the factory, there is still a lot of work to be done on the boat before it is ready for us to set sail.  Once the boat is ready, we will head south, cross the Bay of Biscay and work our way down the cost of Portugal and then thru the Straights of Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean.  We plan to sail the Mediterranean for 2-3 years before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean.

Our boat (S.V. Always) is a 2021 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42.  There are 3 staterooms, 3 heads and 2 showers on board.
